This is the page for those interested in participating in HealthCamp Minnesota, the date is set for Saturday, October 24. The reason for this date is because The Health 2.0 conference is October 6, 7 and the Life Science Alley conference in Minnesota is in December. So we believe this is a solid date without conflicts with most attendees.
Lee Aase of the Mayo Clinic is the keynote speaker. We also have our first sponsor Netbriefings. They are a provider of video conferencing for large enterprises and they have a desktop webcasting and video solution called Proclaim. Albert is working out the details on their participation.
This will serve as the working website until we have the speakers, location, and agenda in place. Then we'll post a website under HealthCampminnesota.org
This web 2.0 style conference is focused on several aspects of healthcare including Transparency, Cost, and Performance. The idea is also to have a track on medical device manufacturing and marketing. This is such an important an innovative component of health care in Minnesota, it is vital to have this aspect of the state represented here, and online to the rest of the world.
REMEMBER: The website is www.healthcampminnesota.org where folks can register.
You can examine the Topic Discussion and Agenda page, please contribute your ideas for topics, people, etc. as we all contribute to produce this conference. We will also be talking to potential sponsors as we build an agenda that incorporates the variety of health and medical device players from around the state.
I thought it essential to call this HealthCampMinnesota instead of a city name because of the role Mayo and other companies from outside of the metro that enhance the state's reputation in healthcare around the world.
